St. Bonaventure Upsets St. John's

In a rematch from last year in which St. John's won by 1 point, St. Bonaventure someway, somehow came out with a 67-66 victory over the Red Storm. The game was back and forth throughout and Andrew Nicholson hit the game winning jumper for the Bonnies with 5 seconds left to quiet the St. John's home crowd.

St. John's twice had double digit leads only to see St. Bonaventure come back. Andrew Nicholson and Michael Davenport came up big for the Bonnies as they recorded their best win in quite some time.

On top of hitting the game winning shot, Nicholson recorded a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Davenport was on fire the entire game recording 22 points.

Despite the loss, Dwight Hardy had a great game for St. John's scoring 24 points.

The Bonnies victory over St. John's has got to go down as one of the top college basketball games of the season so far. The game was back and forth throughout and had multiple lead changes within the last few minutes of regulation.

Nicholson's game winning jumper was clutch and gave St. Bonaventure a good victory over a quality Big East opponent. With the win, St. Bonaventure moves to 5-2 and next plays December 11th vs. Big 4 rival Niagara University.
