On Thursday, Ohio, Buffalo, and Niagara were all in action
Norfolk State 56, Ohio 92- Tommy Freeman led the Bobcats with 19 points as 6 players scored in double-digits for Ohio. D.J. Cooper had a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists and T.J. Hall had his best game as a Bobcat with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Ohio led by as many as 45 and cruised to the easy victory.
With the win, Ohio moves to 7-6 and next plays January 2nd vs. Robert Morris
#16 BYU, Buffalo 82- UB gave their best effort but came up just short. UB trailed by only 2 at halftime but could never gain the lead in the 2nd half. Jimmer Fredette had a huge game for BYU with 34 points.
With the loss, UB falls to 7-4 and next plays January 3rd at Cornell.
Niagara 67, UMBC 68- Why do I even bother writing about Niagara. You know you're bad when you play a team with no wins and you end up losing. That's the story for the Purple Eagles as they show that they are one of the worst teams in college basketball.
With the loss, Niagara falls to 3-11 and next plays January 3rd at Fairfield
