B-Zone College Basketball Update

On Tuesday, St. Bonaventure, Syracuse, and Niagara were all in action.

Siena 79, St. Bonaventure 82- Andrew Nicholson's 26 points led St. Bonavenute to another victory at home Tuesday as they defeated Siena. Michael Davenport and Ogo Adegboye also had good games scoring 20 and 18 points respectively. One of the keys to the game was rebounding as the Bonnies out rebounded Siena 35-25.

St. Bonaventure moves to 7-4 with the win and next plays January 2nd at home vs. Marshall.

Providence 74, #5 Syracuse 81- Kris Joseph had a huge game with 27 points to lead the Orange over the Friars. Scoop Jardine added 21 points and Rick Jackson added 17 rebounds in the win. Syracuse had a 16 point lead in the 2nd half but nearly blew the game. Marshon Brooks had 27 points for Providence in their gutsy effort.

Syracuse moves to 14-0 with the win and next plays New Years Day at home against #15 Notre Dame.

Niagara 39, Drexel 84- I don't know what to say about Niagara's effort on Tuesday.........Okay, this should do. "Niagara sucks, they really really suck. Niagara sucks, they really really suck." I think that works fine.

With the loss, Niagara moves to 3-10 and next plays December 30th vs. UMBC.
