Canisius Destroys Northwestern State

Did Canisius put on a show Wednesday or what? The Golden Griffins had their best effort of the season as they destroyed Northwestern State 85-52.

Alshwan Hymes had a great game off the bench scoring 28 points including 9 three-pointers.

Julius Coles and Elton Frazier also had good games for Canisius scoring 16 and 15 points apiece.

Northwestern State struggled the entire night and could never get into a flow offensively. They shot 33.3% from the field and their starters combined for only 19 points.

With the win, Canisius moves to 6-6 and next plays January 3rd at St. Peter's.
