B-Zone College Basketball Update

On Saturday, Ohio, St. Bonaventure, UB, and Syracuse were all in action.

Three games total took place as Ohio took on St. Bonaventure.

Ohio 107, St. Bonaventure 112- Great game but a disappointing loss for Ohio. Refs were very one-sided as the Bonnies got the majority of the calls. Andrew Nicholson had a double-double for St. Bonaventure with 44 points and 12 rebounds. D.J. Cooper had a double-double for Ohio with 43 points and 13 assists.

With the loss, Ohio falls to 6-5 and next plays December 22nd vs. Temple.

St. Bonaventure moves to 6-3 with the win and next plays December 23rd in Rochester, NY against Virginia Tech

Houghton 47, Buffalo 79- Buffalo schedule is pathetic. On this day, they took on an NAIA opponent and won in a rout. But does anyone really care. UB's strength of schedule is 309th in the country and they deserve no credit until they take on teams with an ounce of talent.

With the win, UB moves to 7-3 and next plays December 30th when they play a "real" opponent in #18 BYU.

Iona 77, Syracuse 83- Kris Joseph went off for 21 points as the Orange squeaked out a victory over Iona. Michael Glover played great for the Gaels as he recorded a double-double with 25 points and 16 rebounds.

Syracuse moves to 11-0 with the win and next plays December 20th vs. Morgan State.
