Bills Get Demolished by Vikings 38-14

The Buffalo Bills simply never showed up to play the Minnesota Vikings. Seriously, I'm still trying to find them. It was a long day for the Bills Sunday as they lost to the Vikings 38-14

The game started out well for the Bills as Drayton Florence intercepted Brett Favre on the Vikings first drive. Arthur Moats hit Favre from behind forcing the ball to pop into the air. Favre was injured on the play and didn't return to the game.

Tavaris Jackson took Favre's place and threw an early interception to Drayton Florence (2nd of the game) who returned it for a touchdown giving the Bills the early 7-0 lead. But that would be the only time the Bills sniffed the lead the entire afternoon.

The Vikings then decided to wake up. Led by Tavaris Jackson, the Vikings went on to score 38 unanswered points. The Vikings offense was on fire the entire game and they couldn't be stopped.

Tavaris Jackson had a great game despite putting up poor numbers. He torched the Bills defense early on which help open up the running game for Adrian Peterson. On the game Jackson threw for 185 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. Adrian Peterson rushed for 107 yards and 3 touchdowns on 16 carries..

Sidney Rice also had a great game for the Vikings with 5 receptions for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns. It is really apparent how badly the Vikings missed Rice based on his production the last two weeks. Rice is a game changer and the Vikings are a lot better with him in the lineup.

On the other side of the ball, the Bills sucked both offensively and defensively. The Bills only had 239 total yards on the day while allowing 387 total yards.

Fitzpatrick had one of his worst games of the season passing for only 158 yards. The Bills offensive line was awful allowing pressure to get to Fitzpatrick the entire game.

The Bills couldn't run or pass the ball and struggled to get first downs the entire game. The Bills turned it over 5 times and never got in sync. Evans was the lone Bills player to have a good game as he had 3 receptions for 72 yards.

The lone bright spot from the game was that Fitzpatrick reached a personal milestone passing for his 20th touchdown of the season. It was Fitzpatrick's 13th consecutive start with a touchdown pass tying Jim Kelly for the longest streak in Bills history.

With the loss, the Bills fall to 2-10. They play at home against the Cleveland Browns next week.
