Well, we knew that Ohio probably wasn't going to beat Temple. And they didn't. But, Ohio earned some respect on Wednesday as they played a hard fought game before losing 76-65 to the Temple Owls.
Temple's trio of Moore, Wyatt, and Jefferson really killed Ohio on the night. The trio combined for 49 points and got their way against Ohio all night.
Temple got off to a nice start as they entered halftime up 40-33.
In the second half, Ohio tried to close the gap but could never get closer than five. Temple led by around 10 points for most of the second half before winning 76-65
Despite the loss, DeVaughn Washington and D.J. Cooper had decent games for Ohio. Washington scored 20 points while Cooper nearly had a triple-double with 13 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds.
With the loss, Ohio falls to 6-6 and next plays December 29th vs. Norfolk State.
