B-Zone College Basketball Update


On Tuesday, Canisius, St. Bonaventure, and Syracuse were all in action.


Canisius 73, South Dakota 69- Alshwan Hymes led Canisius in scoring with 18 points on way to their 4th win of the season. Canisius had balanced scoring throughout their lineup which helped them squeeze out the win. Tomas Vazquez-Simmons had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Canisius moves to 4-4 and next plays December 10th at home against Saint Francis (New York)


St. Bonaventure 67, St. John's 66- Andrew Nicholson hit the game winning jump shot with 5 seconds left to propel the Bonnies to their biggest win in quite some time. Davenport lead the Bonnies in points with 22 and Nicholson followed him up with 19 points and 13 rebounds

St. Bonaventure moves to 5-2 and next plays December 11th at home against Big 4 rival Niagara University.


#8 Michigan State 58, #7 Syracuse 72- Rick Jackson led the way with 17 points and 16 rebounds as Syracuse cruised against Michigan State. Syracuse controlled the paint and lead the majority of the game.

Syracuse moves to 9-0 and next plays December 11th at home against Colgate.
