On Tuesday night, the Sabres defeated the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 in overtime.
Tyler Ennis and Jason Pominville scored for the Sabres as they took down the Canadiens.
With the win, the Sabres "technically" get back to .500 on the season.
The Sabres initially trailed 1-0 when David Desharnais scored for the Canadiens to put them ahead 1-0. But the Sabres put forth a good effort and came back for the victory.
Besides the goal scorers for the Sabres, many other players put forth good games such as Thomas Vanek (assisted on both Buffalo goals) and Nathan Gerbe (3rd star).
The Sabres stand tied for 9th in the eastern conference and are 8 points back of Atlanta with three games in hand.
The Sabres next play January 20th at Boston.
