On Sunday, Niagara, Canisius, and Ohio were all in action

Sunday Games

Miami(ohio) 92, Ohio 88 (3OT)- Wow, Ohio can't win in overtime. For the 3rd time this season, they went to overtime only to lose. This loss hurts as it was Ohio's conference opener at home against their biggest rival. D.J. Cooper recorded a double-double with 27 points and 11 assists but did not have his A game as he only shot 7-22 from the field.

With the loss, Ohio drops below .500 at 7-8 (0-1) and next play January 12th at Akron.

Siena 55, Niagara 69- Niagara Wins! Niagara Wins! I never thought this day would come again. After losing 11 of their last 12 games, Niagara finally won thanks to Anthony Nelson going off for 30 points.

With the win, Niagara gets their first conference win of the season and moves to 4-13 (1-4). Niagara next plays on January 15th vs. St. Peter's.

Rider 77, Canisius 76- Canisius led all the way till midway into the 2nd half but couldn't hold on to defeat the MAAC favorites. Julius Coles had a great game for the Golden Griffins scoring 20 points.

With the loss, Canisius falls to 7-8 (1-4) and next plays January 15th at Manhattan.
