NFL Wild Card Playoff Picks

Well, its playoff time and I'm excited. I finished a great season of picks by going 11-5 in the final week of the regular season. That gives me hope that my luck will continue into the playoffs.

Last Week: 11-5
B-Zone Overall Record: 73-39

Saturday Games

4:30, NBC
New Orleans @ Seattle: New Orleans

Comment: How did Seattle even make the playoffs? They WENT 7-9! New Orleans should roll in this one despite going into hostile territory in Seattle.

8:00, NBC
New York Jets @ Indianapolis: Indianapolis

Comment: Despite getting more wins than the Colts in the regular season, the Jets must travel to Indianapolis to take on the high flying Colts. I think Peyton Manning is too experienced and talented to be stopped. I like the Colts in this one in a close game.

Sunday Games

1:00, CBS
Baltimore @ Kansas City: Baltimore:

Comment: I didn't even realize before typing this that 3 of the four wild card teams this year had more wins than their week 1 playoff opponents. Baltimore has too good of a defense and has just enough offense to make a run in the playoffs. I don't think Kansas City will be able to stop them.

4:30, FOX
Green Bay @ Philadelphia: Philadelphia

Comment: It was in the season opener against Green Bay when the Mike Vick experience was re-established with Philadelphia. Kolb got injured and Vick replaced him and almost led the Eagles to a comeback victory. The rest of the story is history. Whoever wins this game will have a great chance to go the Super Bowl.
