NFL Conference Championship Picks

Its CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK!!!! CAN YOU DIG IT??? As you can tell, I'm very excited about this week's slate of games..............and so should you if you're reading this. This is the 3rd week of the playoffs and I haven't been doing that hot. But all of that changes this week. You better keep reading this and check out my picks.

Divisional Round- 2-2
Playoffs Overall- 3-5
Regular Season- 73-39
B-Zone Overall Record- 76-44

Games:

3:00, FOX
Green Bay @ Chicago: Green Bay

Comment: Sure, I'm a little biased here. I love James Starks. The former UB running back has been playing great football this postseason as the starting running back of the Packers. Green Bay just thoroughly dominated the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons last week and I think they'll do the same vs. the Bears. Chicago and Green Bay both have good defenses (Chicago's defense is a little bit better). However, Green Bay's offense is a whole lot better than Chicago's even with Jay Cutler playing better as of late. I have Green Bay winning in a close game.

BTW Chicago, how do you feel about losing to Green Bay in the last game of the regular season now?

6:30, CBS
New York Jets @ Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh

Comment: By now, you all know how much I HATE the Jets and how much I love the Steelers (I'd root for them if I wasn't a Bills fan). So you probably aren't surprised that I picked the Steelers to win. But to be honest, I'm actually surprised that I'm picking the Steelers. I think the Jets are a better running team and have more talent than the Steelers. The Jets have an amazing defense and they just know how to play "tough" football. There is only one thing I don't like about the Jets: Mark Sanchez. I feel as though the Jets win in spite of him the majority of the time. However, on the other side of the ball, you have "rapist" Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback. Although a questionable character off the field, on the field he is a born winner. His ability to win big games combined with Pittsburgh's amazing rush defense and home-field advantage makes me believe that the Steelers will come out on top on Sunday.
