B-Zone College Basketball Update

On Wednesday, St. Bonaventure took on Arkansas-Little Rock and on Friday, Niagara took on Rider.

Wednesday Night

St. Bonaventure 68, Arkansas-Little Rock 55- Demetrius Conger had a huge night for the Bonnies going for a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Nicholson added 11 points but was limited to only 20 minutes due to foul trouble. The game was tied at 26-26 entering halftime but St. Bonaventure put the "hurt" on the Trojans in the 2nd half as they ended up winning by 13.

St. Bonaventure moves to 8-5 with the win and next plays January 8th as they open up their conference season at home vs. Charlotte.

Rider 82, Niagara 65- I'll phrase up the entire game in three sentences: Rider had 4 players score at least 16 points. Rider shot 55.2% from the field. Niagara shot 29.4% from the field.

Yes it is fair to assume that Niagara University has an awful basketball team.

Niagara falls to 3-13 (0-4) and next plays January 9th vs. Siena.
