B-Zone College Basketball Update


On Monday, Canisius, Buffalo, and Niagara were all in action


Canisius 55, St. Peter's 63- Nick Leon had 20 points for St. Peter's as they put away Canisius. Reggie Groves came off the bench for Canisius and contributed 16 points in the losing effort. The loss is Canisius's 3rd consecutive conference loss and drops them below .500.

Canisius moves to 6-7 with the loss and next plays January 7th vs. Siena


Buffalo 78, Cornell 66- UB finished its conference schedule with a win over the Big Red on Monday night. Byron Mulkey led UB to the win the great effort. Mulkey recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists in the win.

UB moves to 8-4 and next plays January 8th when they open of their conference schedule at home against Bowling Green.


Niagara 48, Fairfield 70- When you look up the word awful in the dictionary, a picture of Niagara University's men's basketball team shows up.

Niagara moves to 3-12 and next plays January 7th vs. Rider.
