Question, did anybody tell the Buffalo Sabres that they were playing on Wednesday? Because it sure didn't look like the Sabres showed up. The Sabres lost their second straight game as they fell to the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0. Marc-Andre Fleury made 30 saves and posted the shutout. At the other end, Jhonas Enroth made 28 saves and only allowed one goal but ended up getting the loss. The lone goal of the game occurred at the 15:04 mark of the first period as Pascal Depuis knocked in his sixth of the season set up by Sidney Crosby. The game was very tight and both teams had opportunities to score goals down the stretch but the game stayed at 1-0 till the end. Pittsburgh moved into fifth place in the eastern conference with the win and Buffalo stays tied for 11th in the east with the loss.
