Ohio University defeated Valparaiso 78-75 in an exciting back and forth game. Ohio started the game on fire taking an early 27-12 lead. But the lead was not meant to last as Valparaiso went on a 20-4 run to take a 32-31 lead entering the half. The game was back and fourth the entire second half as neither team had a lead greater than four. Valparaiso made some clutch shots to take a 3 point lead with three minutes left but Ohio wouldn’t let that deter them. Ohio came back with the help of some three pointers from Tommy Freeman and points from D.J. Cooper to secure the win.
